We started NikkahGram services offline in 2016 with our online presence initiated in 2023, to facilitate marriage for Muslims who stick to core islamic values of modesty and submission to Allaah without modern excuses. For sisters who value their virginity and preserve it, and for brothers who remain chaste and wish to find an untouched wife.
Alongside this, we realise and acknowledge that Allaah facilitates marriage in the form of monogamy and polygyny; and polygyny is a sunnah of many prophets including our beloved Messenger Muhammad ﷺ, by which many people can get married or avoid haram, who otherwise may have been unable to.
We have therefore created a dedicated platform for such Muslims, which you will likely not find anywhere else. Whilst some may want polygyny, they may also value virginity or vice versa, and so the database is combined to give everyone the options they want (and that Allaah may have willed for them)!Our Vision
We stick to the clear cut rulings of the Quran and Sunnah, without sugarcoating anything to please liberal society, and without being unnecessarily strict because of culture.

1.1 Purpose of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NikkahGram platform, including but not limited to its website, applications, registration forms, databases, subscription services, matchmaking tools, communications, and any related digital or offline services provided under the NikkahGram brand (collectively, the "Service").
NikkahGram operates as a global-facing matchmaking and marriage facilitation platform. These Terms are intended to clearly define the legal relationship between you and NikkahGram, set expectations for use of the Service, and allocate rights, responsibilities, and risks in a transparent and enforceable manner.
1.2 Binding Agreement
By accessing, browsing, registering with, submitting information to, communicating with, or using any part of the Service in any manner, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, together with all policies, declarations, and notices expressly incorporated by reference (collectively, the "Legal Declarations").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service and must not submit any information, registration forms, or payments to NikkahGram.
1.3 Forms of Acceptance
Your agreement to these Terms may occur through any of the following actions, without limitation:
* Clicking an "Accept", "Agree", "Accept & Submit", or similar button;
* Registering a profile or submitting any form;
* Making a payment or authorising a subscription;
* Communicating with NikkahGram through email, messaging platforms, social media, or other channels;
* Continuing to access or use the Service after these Terms are made available to you.
Each of the above constitutes valid and binding acceptance of these Terms.
1.4 Scope of Application
These Terms apply globally and govern all interactions with the NikkahGram brand, regardless of:
* Whether you are a free or paid user;
* Whether services are delivered directly or through affiliated backend operators;
* The country or jurisdiction from which you access the Service;
* The medium through which the Service is accessed (including website, mobile devices, applications, forms, or third-party platforms).
1.5 Relationship of the Parties
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary relationship, or employment relationship between you and NikkahGram. You use the Service as an independent user, and all decisions, actions, and outcomes arising from your use of the Service remain your sole responsibility, subject to applicable law.
1.6 Updates and Continued Acceptance
NikkahGram may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be made available through the platform or associated channels. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.2. Definitions & Interpretation
2.1 Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings unless the context requires otherwise:
“Application” means the NikkahGram mobile application for iOS and Android devices, including all features, updates, and related services provided through it.
“Instant Match” (also referred to as a “Match” or “Request”) means a feature within the Application that allows a user to directly initiate contact with another user, resulting in the immediate sharing of certain profile information, including at a minimum any References provided by the initiating user, and which may also include tier-dependent additional content such as messages, photographs, personalised media, or videos.
“References” means individuals designated by a user to be contacted in relation to marriage enquiries, typically including named persons with contact details such as telephone numbers or email addresses, and preferably guardians or family members. For female candidates, this is required to include at least one male mahram acting as a guardian (wali), in accordance with platform policy.
“User” means any individual who downloads, accesses, browses, or uses the Application in any manner, including unregistered users, registered users, free users, and paid users.
“Free User” means a User who accesses the Application without payment, including pre-registration users, users granted complimentary or extended access, or users accessing the Application via referral or exemption, and who does not make any payment to use the core paid features.
“Paid User” means a User who has purchased a subscription or made a one-off payment in order to access paid features of the Application.
“Subscription” means a recurring paid plan that renews automatically at agreed intervals (such as monthly or quarterly) until cancelled, as processed via Stripe, the Apple App Store, or the Google Play Store.
“One-Off Payment” means a single payment that grants access to paid features without automatic renewal. One-off payments currently grant lifetime access, but the nature, scope, or duration of access associated with such payments may change in the future.
“Service” means the matchmaking and marriage facilitation services provided through the Application, enabling users to view profiles, self-introduce, initiate Instant Matches, and proceed independently towards marriage outside the Application.
“Content” means any information, data, text, images, photographs, videos, messages, or other materials submitted, uploaded, shared, or generated by users through the Application.
“Affiliated Service Providers” means third-party service providers engaged by NikkahGram to support the operation, maintenance, payment processing, analytics, moderation, or delivery of the Service, without creating any partnership, agency, or joint venture.
2.2 Interpretation
Unless the context otherwise requires:
* Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa;
* References to any gender include all genders;
* Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation;
* References to “including” or “include” shall be construed as illustrative and not limiting;
* References to law include any applicable amendments, re-enactments, or replacements.
2.3 Application-Only Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to the NikkahGram mobile Application for iOS and Android. They do not govern any separate website, offline service, or third-party platform, unless expressly stated otherwise within these Terms.
3. Document Hierarchy & Precedence
3.1 Constituent Documents
The Legal Declarations governing your relationship with NikkahGram comprise the following documents, which together form a single integrated agreement:
* Terms & Conditions (this document): The primary governing document setting out the contractual relationship, rights, obligations, and rules applicable to all users of the Service.
* Privacy Policy: The document explaining how NikkahGram collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data, including your rights under applicable data protection laws.
* Cookie Policy: The document explaining the use of cookies, tracking technologies, and similar mechanisms on the Application.
* Acceptable Use Policy (if separately published): Any supplementary rules governing user conduct, prohibited activities, and content standards.
* Subscription and Pricing Schedules (if separately published): Any supplementary documents detailing current subscription tiers, pricing, and payment terms.
* Any additional policies, notices, or declarations expressly incorporated by reference within these Terms or published on the Application from time to time.
3.2 Incorporation by Reference
Each document listed in clause 3.1 is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms by reference. By accepting these Terms, you also agree to be bound by all such incorporated documents as amended from time to time.
Where a document is stated to be incorporated by reference, it shall have the same legal force and effect as if its provisions were set out in full within these Terms.
3.3 Order of Precedence
In the event of any conflict, inconsistency, or ambiguity between the documents comprising the Legal Declarations, the following order of precedence shall apply (highest to lowest):
1. These Terms & Conditions;
2. The Privacy Policy;
3. The Cookie Policy;
4. Any Acceptable Use Policy;
5. Any Subscription and Pricing Schedules;
6. Any other supplementary policies or notices.
The document ranked higher in the order of precedence shall prevail to the extent of the conflict, inconsistency, or ambiguity, and the conflicting provision in the lower-ranked document shall be read down or disapplied accordingly.
3.4 Platform-Specific Terms
Where you access the Application through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the terms and conditions of the relevant platform operator also apply to your use of the Application. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:
(a) With respect to payment processing, subscription management, billing disputes, and refund requests processed through those platforms, the policies of the relevant platform operator shall take precedence, and you must direct such matters to the relevant platform in accordance with their procedures;
(b) With respect to all other matters, including but not limited to user conduct, eligibility, content, licensing, liability, and dispute resolution, these Terms shall prevail to the fullest extent permitted by the platform operator's terms and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to override any mandatory rights you may have under the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
3.5 Specific Provisions Prevail
Notwithstanding clause 3.3, where a document contains provisions that are more specific to a particular subject matter than provisions in a higher-ranked document, the more specific provisions shall prevail in respect of that subject matter, provided they do not directly contradict an express prohibition or mandatory requirement in the higher-ranked document.
3.6 Supplementary Documents
NikkahGram may from time to time publish supplementary policies, guidelines, or notices that apply to specific features, services, promotions, or user categories. Such supplementary documents shall be deemed incorporated into these Terms upon publication and shall be binding on users who access or use the relevant features, services, or promotions.
3.7 No External Documents
No document, representation, warranty, or statement made outside the Legal Declarations (whether oral or written, and whether made by NikkahGram, its employees, agents, affiliates, or any third party) shall form part of or affect the interpretation of these Terms, unless expressly incorporated by reference in writing.
3.8 Language
These Terms are drafted in British English. In the event that any translated version is made available, the English language version shall prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with the translated version.4. Legal Entity, Brand Structure & Operational Model
4.1 NikkahGram as a Global-Facing Brand
NikkahGram is a global-facing service brand providing matchmaking and marriage facilitation services through the Application. The brand may be operated, supported, or administered by different entities, individuals, or affiliated service providers depending on the nature of the service, the user's location, or operational requirements.
4.2 Backend Operators and Affiliates
The operational delivery of the Service, including but not limited to technical infrastructure, customer support, payment processing, content moderation, and data management, may be carried out by NikkahGram directly or through backend operators, contractors, affiliates, or third-party service providers engaged by NikkahGram from time to time.
References in these Terms to "NikkahGram", "we", "us", or "our" shall include, where the context permits, any such backend operators, affiliates, or service providers acting on behalf of or in connection with the NikkahGram brand.
4.3 No Partnership, Agency, or Joint Venture
Nothing in these Terms, and no aspect of your use of the Service, shall be construed as creating any partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, fiduciary duty, or employment relationship between you and NikkahGram, or between you and any backend operator, affiliate, or service provider.
You acknowledge and agree that:
(a) You use the Service as an independent user acting on your own behalf (or, where expressly permitted, on behalf of another person for whom you have authority to act);
(b) NikkahGram does not act as your agent, representative, or fiduciary in any capacity;
(c) Any introductions, matches, or connections facilitated through the Service are made on a non-advisory basis, and all decisions arising from such introductions remain your sole responsibility;
(d) No backend operator, affiliate, or service provider is authorised to make any representation, warranty, or commitment on behalf of NikkahGram that is inconsistent with these Terms.
4.4 Limitation of Recourse
Your contractual relationship is with NikkahGram as the brand operator of the Service. You agree that any claim, dispute, or cause of action arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be directed to NikkahGram and not to any individual backend operator, affiliate, employee, contractor, or service provider, except to the extent required by applicable law.5. Eligibility, Legal Capacity & Authority
5.1 Minimum Age
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to access, register with, or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
NikkahGram does not knowingly permit access to the Service by anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their access and delete any associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable child protection laws.
5.2 Legal Capacity
You represent and warrant that you have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction of residence and any other applicable jurisdiction. If you lack such capacity for any reason (including but not limited to mental incapacity, legal restriction, or guardianship order), you must not use the Service.
5.3 Eligibility for Marriage
The Service is intended solely for individuals who are legally and religiously eligible to marry. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
(a) You are not currently married, unless you are a male user seeking a polygynous marriage in accordance with Islamic law and in a jurisdiction where such marriages are legally recognised;
(b) You are not subject to any legal impediment to marriage under the laws of your jurisdiction of residence;
(c) You are genuinely seeking marriage and are using the Service in good faith for that purpose.
5.4 Authority to Act on Behalf of Another
You may only register a profile or submit information on behalf of another person if:
(a) You have that person's express, informed consent to do so;
(b) That person meets all eligibility requirements set out in these Terms;
(c) You have authority to bind that person to these Terms; and
(d) You accept joint and several liability with that person for compliance with these Terms.
Where you register on behalf of another person, references in these Terms to "you" and "your" shall include both you and the person on whose behalf you are acting, unless the context otherwise requires.
5.5 Prohibition on Unauthorised Registrations
You must not register a profile, submit information, or otherwise use the Service on behalf of any person who has not expressly authorised you to do so. Registering another person without their knowledge or consent constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination, legal action, and reporting to relevant authorities.

5.6 Ongoing Eligibility
You must continue to meet all eligibility requirements throughout your use of the Service. If your circumstances change such that you no longer meet any eligibility requirement, you must immediately notify NikkahGram and cease using the Service until your eligibility is restored (if applicable).6. Description of Services
6.1 Nature of the Service
NikkahGram provides a digital matchmaking and marriage facilitation platform designed to help users find potential spouses in accordance with Islamic principles. The Service enables users to:
(a) Create and maintain a profile containing personal information, photographs, preferences, and references;
(b) Browse and view profiles of other users;
(c) Initiate contact with other users through the Instant Match feature;
(d) Share reference and guardian contact information with potential matches;
(e) Proceed independently towards marriage outside the Application.
6.2 Digital-Only Service
The Service is provided exclusively through the Application. NikkahGram does not provide any offline, in-person, or telephonic matchmaking services, marriage brokerage, or relationship counselling. Any interactions that take place outside the Application (including but not limited to meetings, communications, and marriage arrangements) are entirely independent of NikkahGram and are not part of the Service.
6.3 Facilitation, Not Matchmaking Guarantee
NikkahGram facilitates introductions between users but does not guarantee any particular outcome. You acknowledge and agree that:
(a) NikkahGram does not guarantee that you will receive any matches, responses, or introductions;
(b) NikkahGram does not guarantee the quality, suitability, compatibility, or intentions of any user;
(c) NikkahGram does not guarantee that use of the Service will result in marriage or any other outcome;
(d) The success of any introduction depends entirely on the individuals involved and factors outside NikkahGram's control;
(e) NikkahGram has no obligation to provide a minimum number of matches, introductions, or any specific level of service.
6.4 No Verification of Marriage Outcomes
NikkahGram does not verify, monitor, or track whether users who connect through the Service proceed to marriage. Any statistics, testimonials, or success stories shared by NikkahGram are provided for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute any guarantee or representation regarding your likelihood of success.
6.5 Free and Paid Services
The Service includes both free features available to all registered users and premium features available only to Paid Users. The specific features available to Free Users and Paid Users may change from time to time at NikkahGram's discretion. Current feature availability is displayed within the Application.
6.6 Service Evolution
NikkahGram reserves the right to modify, enhance, reduce, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including but not limited to features, functionality, user interface, pricing, and subscription tiers. Such changes do not constitute a breach of these Terms, and NikkahGram shall have no liability to you for any such changes, except as expressly required by applicable law.7. User Accounts, Profiles & Registration
7.1 Registration Requirement
To access certain features of the Service, you must register an account and create a user profile. Registration requires you to submit accurate and complete information as requested in the registration process.
7.2 Profile Submission Process
When creating a profile, you will be required to provide information which may include, without limitation:
(a) Your full name, age, date of birth, and gender;
(b) Your location, nationality, and ethnic background;
(c) Your educational and professional background;
(d) Your religious practice and Islamic sect or school of thought;
(e) Your marital history and family circumstances;
(f) Your preferences regarding a potential spouse;
(g) Photographs of yourself;
(h) Contact details for your references and, where applicable, your guardian (wali);
(i) Any other information reasonably required by NikkahGram.
7.3 Accuracy and Honesty Obligations
You represent, warrant, and undertake that:
(a) All information you provide to NikkahGram is true, accurate, current, and complete;
(b) You will promptly update your profile and any other information to maintain its accuracy;
(c) You will not misrepresent your identity, age, marital status, or any other material fact;
(d) You will not use photographs of any person other than yourself or photographs that do not accurately represent your current appearance;
(e) You will not provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information for any purpose.
Providing false or misleading information constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination, permanent ban, and legal action.
7.4 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:
(a) Choose a strong, unique password and not share it with any third party;
(b) Notify NikkahGram immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account;
(c) Not permit any other person to use your account or access the Service using your credentials.
NikkahGram is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
7.5 Verification and Moderation Rights
NikkahGram reserves the right, but is not obliged, to:
(a) Verify any information you provide, including by requesting additional documentation or evidence;
(b) Conduct background checks, identity verification, or other screening measures;
(c) Review, moderate, edit, or remove any profile content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable;
(d) Contact your references or guardian to verify information or investigate complaints;
(e) Use automated systems, artificial intelligence, or manual review to monitor profiles and detect violations.
7.6 Grounds for Refusal or Removal
NikkahGram may refuse to register your account, reject your profile, or remove your profile at any time, with or without notice, if:
(a) You do not meet the eligibility requirements set out in these Terms;
(b) Your profile contains false, misleading, incomplete, or inappropriate content;
(c) You have previously been banned or removed from the Service;
(d) NikkahGram reasonably believes you pose a risk to other users or the integrity of the Service;
(e) Your registration or profile violates these Terms, applicable law, or NikkahGram's policies;
(f) For any other reason at NikkahGram's sole discretion.
NikkahGram is not obliged to provide reasons for any refusal or removal decision.8. User Content, Profile Data & Licence Grant
8.1 Ownership of Personal Data
You retain ownership of your personal data as defined under applicable data protection laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your personal data to NikkahGram.
8.2 Licence Granted to NikkahGram
By submitting any content to the Service, including but not limited to profile information, photographs, videos, messages, and other materials ("User Content"), you grant NikkahGram a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, and sublicensable licence to:
(a) Use, reproduce, store, modify, adapt, translate, and display your User Content for the purpose of providing, operating, and improving the Service;
(b) Share your User Content with other users in accordance with the functionality of the Service;
(c) Use your User Content (in anonymised, aggregated, or identifiable form, as appropriate) for analytics, research, platform improvement, and service development;
(d) Use your User Content for marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes, subject to clause 8.4;
(e) Retain copies of your User Content for legal, regulatory, backup, and archival purposes, even after account termination.
8.3 Anonymisation and Aggregated Data
NikkahGram may anonymise, aggregate, or de-identify your User Content and personal data to create datasets that do not identify you personally. Such anonymised or aggregated data is not subject to the restrictions in these Terms or data protection laws regarding personal data, and NikkahGram may use such data for any lawful purpose without restriction or compensation to you.
8.4 Marketing, Training, and Operational Use
You acknowledge and agree that NikkahGram may use your User Content, including photographs and testimonials, for marketing, promotional, training, and operational purposes, provided that:
(a) Where your User Content is used in identifiable form for external marketing (such as advertisements, case studies, or promotional materials), NikkahGram will seek your prior consent unless the content was voluntarily submitted for such purposes or is publicly available;
(b) NikkahGram may use anonymised or non-identifiable extracts of User Content without additional consent;
(c) You may withdraw consent for identifiable marketing use by contacting NikkahGram, though this will not affect any use that occurred prior to withdrawal.
8.5 User Content Standards
You represent and warrant that your User Content:
(a) Is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third party's rights;
(b) Does not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise objectionable;
(c) Does not contain any viruses, malware, or harmful code;
(d) Complies with all applicable laws and these Terms.
8.6 No Obligation to Use or Display
NikkahGram is under no obligation to use, display, or retain any User Content. NikkahGram may remove, edit, or refuse to display any User Content at its sole discretion, without notice or liability.9. Gender-Specific Candidate Obligations
9.1 General Obligations (All Candidates)
All users, regardless of gender, must:
(a) Conduct: Behave respectfully, honestly, and in good faith in all interactions with other users, references, guardians, and NikkahGram;
(b) Confidentiality: Treat all information received about other users, including profile details, reference information, and communications, as confidential, and not disclose such information to any third party except as necessary for the purpose of pursuing a genuine marriage enquiry;
(c) Lawful Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws of their jurisdiction of residence, including but not limited to laws relating to marriage, harassment, data protection, and communications;
(d) Islamic Conduct: Conduct themselves in a manner consistent with Islamic principles of modesty, honesty, and respect, and refrain from any behaviour that is haram or contrary to the spirit of Islamic marriage;
(e) Genuine Intent: Use the Service solely for the purpose of seeking a lawful marriage and not for any other purpose, including casual relationships, fraud, or exploitation.(f) Guardian Contact: Ensure that any references provided are genuine, contactable, and have agreed to be listed as references.(g) Profile Transparency: Be completely honest about all statements and selections made and agreed to on your profile, including but not limited to; personal informational, appearance details, financial circumstances, employment status, marital history, islamic practices or lack thereof.
(h) Sworn Oath for Registration: Agree that when you submit your profile after registering your details during the onboarding process of the app (or amend them later from Settings), you accept, acknowledge and agree to be bound by the sworn oath for registration according to your birth sex, in front of Allah Subhanhu Wa-Ta’ala, as outlined under section 9.5 below.
9.2 Male Candidate Obligaions
In addition to the general obligations, male candidates must:
(a) References: For brothers on the Standard tier membership, provide at least two references who can be contacted by potential matches or their guardians to verify the candidate's character, intentions, and suitability for marriage;
(b) Guardian Contact: When initiating contact with a female candidate, be prepared to communicate respectfully with her guardian (wali) and respect the guardian's role in the marriage process;
(c) Respectful Approach: Approach female candidates and their families with respect and seriousness befitting a marriage proposal, and refrain from any inappropriate, casual, or disrespectful communications;
9.3 Female Candidate Obligations
In addition to the general obligations, female candidates must:
(a) Guardian / Wali Requirement: All Sisters must povide the contact details of at least one male mahram to act as guardian (wali) for the purposes of receiving and managing marriage enquiries on her behalf, in accordance with Islamic practice;
(b) Guardian Involvement: Facilitate appropriate involvement of the guardian in the marriage process and not seek to circumvent the guardian's role;
(c) Contact Limitations: Acknowledge that male candidates must, in the first instance, contact the guardian rather than the candidate directly, unless contacted by the sister’s guardian instead, in accordance with Islamic etiquette and platform policy.
(d) Exemption Transparency: Be completely honest about the exemption which you are selecting for free access to the service, acknowledging that you have read and agreed to the oath outlined under the “Sworn Oath for Registration” section (9.5).9.4 Guardian Responsibilities
Where a guardian (wali) is listed on a profile, the guardian is expected to:
(a) Act in the best interests of the candidate they represent;
(b) Respond to genuine marriage enquiries in a timely and respectful manner;
(c) Facilitate appropriate communication between the candidate and potential matches;
(d) Not misuse contact information received for any purpose other than evaluating the marriage enquiry.
NikkahGram is not responsible for the actions or omissions of any guardian.

9.5 Sworn Oath for Registration
For all male candidates registering their profiles, by entering a signature and/or clicking 'Accept and Submit' below, I swear the following Oath to Allah, the Lord of al-‘Alameen, the Rabb that all Muslims believe in and submit to, and I agree to be bound by it in front of Allah Subhanhu Wa-Ta’ala on the Day of Judgement (excluding for NikkahGram-Authorised-Admins): I swear that all information I have submitted in my profile registration section, and on my profile after registration, is true, complete and accurate at this time to the best of my knowledge, and I swear by Allah that I am not falsifying any information. I swear that I cannot and do not intend to bypass these terms on the basis that I did not read them or was ignorant of them, whilst I have access to them or can check or investigate them. I accept and agree that I am signing up for myself, or on behalf of another real Muslim person for whom I have legal and/or shari’i (Islamic) responsibility, or for whom I have been authorised to sign up. I acknowledge that if I have lied or misrepresented anything, NikkahGram reserves the right to remove my profile without a refund and to report me to relevant authorities. I further acknowledge that if my profile is not completed properly, NikkahGram may refuse to upload it, may advise me to submit a new profile, or may remove it without the right to a refund if the service, staff, website, forms or any administrative processes are misused. I agree and authorise NikkahGram and its administrative personnel to verify the contents of my profile and all information submitted in NikkahGram forms to ensure compliance with policies, and to prevent falsification, misinformation, misconduct, fraud or abuse.
By selecting and confirming the Islamic practice that I have preserved my chastity, I swear by Allah that I am a chaste man. A "chaste" man means that my private areas have never been, in a haram way against the rules of the Shari'ah, intimately or sexually touched by anyone else, and I have never intimately or sexually touched another person's private parts whilst not permitted as per the Shari'ah, including any form of haram sexual intercourse. Lying in this oath is a severe sin with serious consequences in this life and the hereafter. If I am not a chaste man, I acknowledge that my profile may be removed, and I may instead select alternative options in my profile without needing to disclose any past/haram actions. I understand that selecting another option does not imply confession of any previous acts, but prevents abuse of this practice for those who do not fulfil its requirements.
I agree and authorise NikkahGram to use my public profile for marketing, training and promotional purposes, and to use profile and database metadata in ways that do not personally identify me. I acknowledge that once submitted, my profile becomes the property of NikkahGram, which retains the right to keep a public, anonymised version on its databases including Telegram, Instagram and other platforms as required for its operation and promotion. If I am a paid user and submit the Delete Profile form in App (also known as the Profile Removal Request Form) correctly, I accept that my public profiles will be removed from public view as soon as possible, and NikkahGram will deactivate and remove non-public details from internal systems within six months, though the public anonymised profile may remain indefinitely. If I am a free user, I understand that public removal can take up to ten working days, with non-public details removed from internal systems within six months, and that anonymised public profiles may remain indefinitely. I acknowledge that public databases do not reflect internal removal status, and I hereby give up any right to request removal of anonymised public profiles as I acknowledge they are publicly published and cannot always be removed or forgotten from all online media.
I acknowledge that if I am on a subscription plan, I must maintain ongoing payments for the duration of my subscription. If I cancel, if payments are missed, or if payments fail for any reason, I may lose access to services without warning. I am responsible for cancelling payments via Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, GoCardless, PayPal, Link, my bank or any other method utilised by NikkahGram at any given time; NikkahGram is not responsible for any payments processed due to my failure to cancel on time. I understand that cancelling membership may result in loss of current and future subscription benefits, and that features of packages are only available to active profiles with active or paid subscriptions.
I will keep confidential all information provided by NikkahGram, including references or family contact details of other candidates, and will not share them outside approved references unless agreed by NikkahGram or the relevant candidate. I acknowledge that NikkahGram is not responsible for facilitating my marriage or Nikkah and cannot be held liable for missed opportunities, including if internal maintenance restricts access to the systems outside of their control or planned maintenance. I understand that NikkahGram does not guarantee any specific category, quantity, quality, age, ethnicity, location, or other parameters of potential matches, regardless of promotional material or public database listings, and I am not entitled to a refund for incompatibility, unavailability or dissatisfaction. I acknowledge that public databases may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and that candidates listed may not be available internally; NikkahGram cannot be held liable if a candidate does not approve my contact request, is uninterested, or provides false or inaccessible contact details.
I accept responsibility for providing accurate contact details for myself and my family, including accurate and correct contact details for any references. When or if any contact with a potential female suitor is made, I accept full responsibility to contact the actual designated shari’i (Islamic) guardian (“Wali” or representative) of the female candidate as soon as possible and/or practicable. I acknowledge that NikkahGram cannot be held responsible for any activities against the laws of my country of residence or citizenship, against Islamic law, or for any immoral or impermissible actions arising from using this service. I agree to inform NikkahGram of any marriage or Nikkah resulting from their services. I accept that NikkahGram is not liable for false or deceptive information from other users, failed marriages or Nikkahs, or any losses, and that I may report such matters for investigation but cannot hold NikkahGram responsible.
By using the NikkahGram Application or linked services, I confirm that I fully agree to all declarations, terms and conditions, privacy policy, refund policy, and other legal declarations outlined in NikkahGram’s “Terms and Conditions” (https://nikkahgram.com/#app-terms-and-conditions) and “Privacy Policy” (https://nikkahgram.com/#app-privacy). Updated on 17th January 2026.For all female candidates registering their profiles, they agree that by completing and submitting their profile to the public database, they swear the following Oath to Allah, the Lord of al-‘Alameen, the Rabb that All Muslims believe in and submit to, and agree to be bound by it in front of Allah Subhanhu Wa-Ta’ala on the Day of Judgement (excluding for NikkahGram-Authorised-Admins): I swear that all information I have submitted in my profile registration section, and on my profile after registration, is true, complete and accurate at this time to the best of knowledge, and I swear by Allah that I am not falsifying any information. I swear that I cannot and do not intend to bypass these terms on the basis that I did not read them or was ignorant of them, whilst I have access to them or can check or investigate them. I accept and agree that I am signing up for myself, or on behalf of another real Muslim person for whom I have legal and/or shari’i (Islamic) responsibility, or for whom I have been authorised to sign up. I acknowledge that if I have lied or misrepresented anything, NikkahGram reserves the right to remove my profile without a refund and to report me to relevant authorities. I further acknowledge that if my profile is not completed properly, NikkahGram may refuse to upload it, may advise me to submit a new profile, or may remove it without the right to a refund if the service, staff, website, forms or any administrative processes are misused. I agree and authorise NikkahGram and its administrative personnel to verify the contents of my profile and all information submitted in NikkahGram forms to ensure compliance with policies, and to prevent falsification, misinformation, misconduct, fraud or abuse.
For ‘free’ (exempted from payment) profiles: By selecting the Virginity exemption, or by confirming the Islamic practice that I have preserved my virginity, or by indicating the marital stance of Virginity for myself, I swear by Allah that I am a complete virgin, and I am aged under age 35 at time of registration (if this age limit is required and mentioned by NikkahGram currently). A "complete virgin" means that my private areas have never been intimately or sexually touched by anyone else, and I have never intimately or sexually touched another person's private parts, including any form of sexual intercourse. Lying in this oath is a severe sin with serious consequences in this life and the hereafter. If I am not a virgin, I acknowledge that my profile may be removed, and I may instead register under alternative options such as Polygyny or All Options without needing to disclose any past/haram actions. I understand that selecting another option does not imply confession of any previous acts, but prevents abuse of this exemption for those who do not fulfil its requirements. By selecting the Polygyny exemption, or the Marital Stance of Polygyny, I accept that I am open to being a co-wife to a man who is already married (i.e. has an existing Nikkah with another woman) and that I will not decline or ignore options solely based on this factor of becoming a second, third or fourth wife. By selecting the Disability exemption, I agree that I have some significant disability, for example (but not limited to); Mobility Impairments (e.g. Paralysis, Amputations or Limb Loss, Multiple Sclerosis [MS]), Sensory Impairments (e.g. Blindness/Severe Visual Impairment, Deafness/Severe Hearing Impairment), Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder [ASD], Intellectual Disabilities), Neurological and Autoimmune Conditions (e.g. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis [ALS], Cerebral Palsy), Chronic Illnesses with Severe Impacts (e.g. Traumatic Brain Injury [TBI], Epilepsy), which I will provide details of as required during registration, and that I am not a normally healthy individual using this exemption to get free usage of the service without fitting this category. By selecting the Orphan exemptions, I confirm and swear that both of my biological parents passed away during my childhood. By selecting the Widow exemption, I agree and confirm that my last husband passed away (died), and I have not been married since. By selecting the Revert exemption, I agree and confirm that I am a revert to Islam coming from another religion outside of Islam, or no religion, and I am aged under age 35 at time of registration (if this age limit is required and mentioned by NikkahGram currently).
I agree and authorise NikkahGram to use my public profile for marketing, training and promotional purposes, and to use profile and database metadata in ways that do not personally identify me. I acknowledge that once submitted, my profile becomes the property of NikkahGram, which retains the right to keep a public, anonymised version on its databases including Telegram, Instagram and other platforms as required for its operation and promotion. If I am a paid user and submit the Delete Profile form in App (also known as the Profile Removal Request Form) correctly, I accept that my public profiles will be removed from public view as soon as possible, and NikkahGram will deactivate and remove non-public details from internal systems within six months, though the public anonymised profile may remain indefinitely. If I am a free user, I understand that public removal can take up to ten working days, with non-public details removed from internal systems within six months, and that anonymised public profiles may remain indefinitely. I acknowledge that public databases do not reflect internal removal status, and I hereby give up any right to request removal of anonymised public profiles as I acknowledge they are publicly published and cannot always be removed or forgotten from all online media.
I acknowledge that if I am on a subscription plan, I must maintain ongoing payments for the duration of my subscription. If I cancel, if payments are missed, or if payments fail for any reason, I may lose access to services without warning. I am responsible for cancelling payments via Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, GoCardless, PayPal, Link, my bank or any other methods which may be utilised by NikkahGram for charging customers at any given time; and NikkahGram is not responsible for any payments processed due to my failure to cancel on time. I understand that cancelling membership may result in loss of current and future subscription benefits, and that features of packages are only available to active profiles with active or paid subscriptions.
I will keep confidential all information provided by NikkahGram, including references or family contact details of other candidates, and will not share them outside approved references unless agreed by NikkahGram or the relevant candidate. I acknowledge that NikkahGram is not responsible for facilitating my marriage or Nikkah and cannot be held liable for missed opportunities, including if internal maintenance restricts access to the systems outside of their control, expectation or any planned maintainance. I understand that NikkahGram does not guarantee any specific category, quantity, quality, age, ethnicity, location, or other parameters of potential matches, regardless of promotional material or public database listings, and I am not entitled to a refund for incompatibility, unavailability or dissatisfaction. I acknowledge that public databases may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and that candidates listed may not be available internally; NikkahGram cannot be held liable if a candidate does not approve my contact request, is uninterested, or provides false or inaccessible contact details.
I accept responsibility for providing accurate contact information for myself and my family, including my actual designated shari’i (Islamic) guardian (“Wali”) as a female user. I agree to involve my guardian when contacting potential suitors and will not provide false contact details. I acknowledge that NikkahGram cannot be held responsible for any activities against the laws of my country of residence or citizenship, against Islamic law, or for any immoral or impermissible actions arising from using this service. I agree to inform NikkahGram of any marriage or Nikkah resulting from their services. I accept that NikkahGram is not liable for false or deceptive information from other users, failed marriages or Nikkahs, or any losses, and that I may report such matters for investigation but cannot hold NikkahGram responsible.

10. Subscription Plans, Fees & Payments
10.1 Service Tiers
NikkahGram offers different service tiers, which may include Free User access and various Paid User subscription plans. The features, benefits, and limitations of each tier are displayed within the Application and may change from time to time at NikkahGram's discretion.
10.2 Subscription Payments
Paid Users may access premium features by purchasing a Subscription, which is a recurring payment plan that renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle (for example, monthly, quarterly, or annually) until cancelled.
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe, depending on your device and selected payment method. By purchasing a Subscription, you authorise the relevant payment processor to charge your chosen payment method at the start of each billing cycle.
10.3 One-Off Payments
NikkahGram may offer the option to purchase access through a One-Off Payment, which is a single payment that does not automatically renew. The access period and features associated with One-Off Payments are specified at the time of purchase and may vary.
10.4 Pricing
All prices are displayed in the Application at the time of purchase and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary by region, platform, promotional period, or other factors.
NikkahGram reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing Subscriptions until the next renewal period, at which point the new price will apply unless you cancel before renewal.
10.5 Payment Processors
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Stripe. Your use of these payment services is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment processor. NikkahGram is not responsible for any errors, failures, or delays caused by payment processors.
10.6 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies imposed by your jurisdiction in connection with your purchase. Where required by law, NikkahGram or the relevant payment processor will collect and remit applicable taxes on your behalf.
10.7 Currency
Payments are processed in the currency displayed at the time of purchase. Currency conversion fees or exchange rate differences imposed by your bank or payment provider are your responsibility.
10.8 Failed Payments
If a payment fails for any reason, NikkahGram or the relevant payment processor may attempt to reprocess the payment. If payment cannot be collected, your access to paid features may be suspended or terminated until payment is successfully processed.11. Refunds, Cancellations & Statutory Rights
11.1 Digital Service Commencement
By purchasing a Subscription or making a One-Off Payment, you request and consent to immediate access to the digital Service. You acknowledge that access to the Service begins immediately upon successful payment.
11.2 Cancellation of Subscriptions
You may cancel your Subscription at any time through:
(a) The Apple App Store (for iOS purchases);
(b) The Google Play Store (for Android purchases);
(c) Your account settings within the Application (for Stripe purchases); or
(d) By contacting NikkahGram support.
Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.
11.3 Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital services and immediate access upon purchase, refunds are generally not provided except:
(a) Where required by applicable law, including your statutory rights under consumer protection legislation;
(b) Where the Service is materially defective and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time;
(c) Where a refund is mandated by the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (in which case you must request the refund directly from the relevant platform);
(d) At NikkahGram's sole discretion as a goodwill gesture in exceptional circumstances.
11.4 Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of England and Wales or any other applicable jurisdiction. If you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law, NikkahGram will honour that entitlement.
For users in the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. These rights include, in certain circumstances, a 14-day cancellation period for digital content, provided you have not consented to immediate performance and acknowledged loss of cancellation rights.
11.5 Waiver of Cancellation Right
By consenting to immediate access to the Service upon purchase and acknowledging that performance of the digital service has begun, you expressly agree that you lose your right to cancel and receive a refund under the 14-day cooling-off period provided by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, to the extent permitted by law.
11.6 Discretionary Goodwill Refunds
NikkahGram may, at its sole discretion, offer goodwill refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances. Any such goodwill gesture does not create a precedent or entitlement for future refunds and is without admission of liability.
11.7 Platform Refund Processes
For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted directly to the relevant platform in accordance with their refund policies. NikkahGram does not have the ability to process refunds for purchases made through these platforms.12. Instant Match System & Add-On Services
12.1 How Instant Matches Work
The Instant Match feature allows a user to initiate direct contact with another user by sending a Match request. When an Instant Match is initiated:
(a) The initiating user's References are shared with the receiving user;
(b) Depending on the initiating user's subscription tier, additional content such as a personalised message, photographs, or video introduction may also be shared;
(c) The receiving user is notified of the Match request and may view the initiating user's shared information;
(d) The receiving user may choose to respond, decline, or take no action.
12.2 Availability and Limitations
The Instant Match feature is available to Paid Users in accordance with their subscription tier. The number of Instant Matches available, the content that can be shared, and other parameters are determined by the user's subscription and may change from time to time.
12.3 No Guarantee of Response or Outcome
NikkahGram does not guarantee that:
(a) Any Instant Match request will be received, viewed, or responded to;
(b) Any particular user will be available, active, or interested in receiving Match requests;
(c) An Instant Match will lead to any communication, introduction, or marriage;
(d) The information shared by any user is accurate, current, or complete.
Instant Matches are a facilitation tool only, and all outcomes depend entirely on the individuals involved.
12.4 Fees for Instant Matches
Access to the Instant Match feature is included within paid subscription tiers as specified in the Application. The pricing structure, number of Matches included, and any additional fees for extra Matches are displayed in the Application and may change from time to time.
12.5 Add-On Services
NikkahGram may offer additional services, features, or add-ons from time to time, which may be subject to separate fees and terms. Such add-on services will be described within the Application, and your purchase of any add-on constitutes acceptance of any applicable additional terms.
12.6 Non-Refundable Nature
Instant Matches and add-on services are non-refundable once used or delivered, except as required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise. An Instant Match is considered used once the Match request is sent, regardless of whether the receiving user views or responds to it.

13. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
13.1 General Conduct Standards
You agree to use the Service responsibly, respectfully, and in accordance with these Terms, applicable law, and Islamic principles of conduct. You must not use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other user's use of the Service.
13.2 Prohibited Activities
You must not, and must not attempt to:
(a) Misrepresentation: Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including creating fake profiles, using another person's identity or photographs, or misrepresenting your age, marital status, or intentions;
(b) Harassment and Abuse: Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or harm any other user, guardian, reference, or any person connected with the Service;
(c) Offensive Content: Upload, share, or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive;
(d) Spam and Solicitation: Send unsolicited messages, advertisements, or promotional materials, or use the Service for commercial purposes not authorised by NikkahGram;
(e) Fraud and Scams: Engage in any fraudulent activity, scam, or scheme, including but not limited to financial fraud, romance scams, or phishing;
(f) Circumvention: Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, access control, or technical features of the Service;
(g) Data Harvesting: Scrape, harvest, collect, or extract any data from the Service, including user profiles, contact information, or other content, whether manually or through automated means;
(h) Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying technology of the Service;
(i) Unauthorised Access: Access or attempt to access any part of the Service, user accounts, or systems that you are not authorised to access;
(j) Resale: Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without NikkahGram's prior written consent;
(k) Illegal Activity: Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law, including but not limited to laws relating to fraud, harassment, data protection, intellectual property, and export control;
(l) Malicious Software: Upload or transmit any virus, malware, trojan, worm, or other malicious code or software;
(m) Impersonation: Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity;
(n) Exploitation: Exploit any vulnerability, bug, or error in the Service for personal gain or to the detriment of NikkahGram or other users;
(o) Multiple Accounts: Create or maintain multiple accounts without NikkahGram's prior written consent;
(p) Inappropriate Contact: Contact other users, references, or guardians for any purpose other than genuine marriage enquiries, or continue to contact any person who has indicated they do not wish to be contacted.
13.3 Consequences of Violation
Violation of this clause 13 may result in:
(a) Warning, suspension, or immediate termination of your account;
(b) Permanent ban from the Service;
(c) Deletion of your profile and User Content;
(d) Reporting to law enforcement or other relevant authorities;
(e) Legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief;
(f) Forfeiture of any fees paid without refund.
NikkahGram reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in response to violations, without prior notice.14. Confidentiality & Use of Contact Information
14.1 Confidential Information
Through the Service, you may receive confidential information about other users, including but not limited to:
(a) Profile information, photographs, and personal details;
(b) Reference contact details, including names, telephone numbers, and email addresses;
(c) Guardian (wali) contact details;
(d) Private messages and communications;
(e) Any other information not publicly available.
14.2 Confidentiality Obligations
You agree to:
(a) Treat all confidential information received through the Service as strictly confidential;
(b) Use confidential information solely for the purpose of evaluating and pursuing a genuine marriage enquiry;
(c) Not disclose confidential information to any third party, except to your own guardian, immediate family members, or trusted advisors directly involved in evaluating a potential marriage;
(d) Not use confidential information for any commercial purpose, marketing, or solicitation;
(e) Not copy, store, or retain confidential information beyond what is reasonably necessary for the purpose of a marriage enquiry;
(f) Promptly delete or destroy any confidential information if a marriage enquiry does not proceed or if requested by NikkahGram or the relevant user.
14.3 Reference and Guardian Information
You acknowledge that reference and guardian contact information is shared for the sole purpose of facilitating marriage enquiries. You must not:
(a) Contact references or guardians for any purpose other than a genuine marriage enquiry relating to the user who provided their details;
(b) Share reference or guardian contact details with any third party;
(c) Use reference or guardian contact details for harassment, spam, marketing, or any other inappropriate purpose;
(d) Retain reference or guardian contact details after a marriage enquiry has concluded.
14.4 Breach Consequences
Breach of confidentiality obligations constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination, legal action, and reporting to relevant authorities. NikkahGram reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for breach of confidentiality.15. Third-Party Services, Platforms & Content
15.1 Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with, link to, or rely upon third-party services, platforms, and providers, including but not limited to:
(a) Payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Stripe);
(b) Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers;
(c) Analytics and performance monitoring services;
(d) Communication platforms;
(e) Social media platforms.
15.2 External Links
The Application may contain links to external websites, applications, or resources operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by NikkahGram.
15.3 No Responsibility for Third-Party Content
NikkahGram is not responsible for:
(a) The availability, accuracy, legality, or quality of any third-party website, application, service, or content;
(b) Any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on third-party services or content;
(c) The privacy practices, terms of service, or conduct of any third party.
15.4 Third-Party Terms Apply
Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and conditions, privacy policies, and other agreements of those third parties. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with such third-party terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the terms of a third-party service, these Terms shall prevail in respect of your relationship with NikkahGram, except as provided in clause 3.4.
15.5 Social Media Platforms
NikkahGram may maintain a presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and others. Your interactions with NikkahGram on these platforms are also subject to the terms and policies of the relevant social media platform. Content posted by NikkahGram on social media is for informational and promotional purposes and does not form part of these Terms unless expressly stated.

16. Marketing Content & Public Media Use
16.1 Use of Publicly Available Content
NikkahGram may use publicly available content from social media platforms, websites, and other public sources for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes. This includes but is not limited to podcasts, YouTube videos, Instagram reels, TikTok videos, and other content posted by third-party creators.
16.2 Editing and Remixing
NikkahGram may edit, remix, adapt, or otherwise modify such publicly available content for use in marketing materials, subject to the terms of the platforms on which such content was originally posted.
16.3 No Endorsement
The use of third-party content does not imply any endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship between NikkahGram and the original content creator, unless expressly stated. Similarly, NikkahGram does not claim that content creators endorse NikkahGram or its services.
16.4 Attribution
Where practicable and in accordance with good practice and Islamic etiquette, NikkahGram will endeavour to tag, mention, or credit original content creators when using their publicly available content.
16.5 Takedown Requests
If you are the creator or rights holder of content used by NikkahGram and you wish for such content to be removed from NikkahGram's marketing materials, you may submit a takedown request by contacting NikkahGram at the contact details provided in these Terms. NikkahGram will use reasonable endeavours to comply with legitimate takedown requests within a reasonable timeframe.
16.6 User-Generated Testimonials and Success Stories
NikkahGram may share testimonials, success stories, and other user-generated content for marketing purposes. Where such content identifies specific users, NikkahGram will obtain consent prior to publication, unless the content was voluntarily submitted by the user for publication or is already publicly available.17. Child Safety & Age Protection
17.1 Prohibition on Minors
The Service is strictly for individuals aged 18 and over. Persons under the age of 18 are prohibited from accessing, registering with, or using the Service in any capacity.
17.2 Age Verification
By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. NikkahGram reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to terminate accounts where age requirements are not met or cannot be verified.
17.3 Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
NikkahGram has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Any content, conduct, or communication that involves, depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of children is strictly prohibited and will result in:
(a) Immediate termination of the offending user's account;
(b) Preservation of evidence and reporting to law enforcement, including the National Crime Agency (NCA) in the United Kingdom and any other relevant authorities;
(c) Full cooperation with law enforcement investigations;
(d) Pursuit of all available legal remedies.
17.4 Reporting
If you become aware of any content or conduct on the Service that may involve child sexual abuse or exploitation, or if you believe a minor has accessed the Service, you must report it immediately to NikkahGram and to relevant law enforcement authorities.
17.5 Commitment to Child Safety
NikkahGram is committed to maintaining a safe environment and will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies, child protection organisations, and regulatory bodies in any investigation relating to child safety.18. Privacy, Data Protection & International Transfers

There is a 7-day restriction before accounts can be deleted after registration on the Application, for security and spam-protection.
You may terminate your account and cease using the Service at any time (after the initial 7-day waiting period since profile registration) by:
(a) Deleting your account through the Application settings;
(b) Cancelling any active Subscription through the relevant platform (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe); and
(c) Contacting NikkahGram to request account deletion.
Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid, except as required by applicable law.
22.2 Termination by NikkahGram
NikkahGram may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including but not limited to:
(a) Violation of these Terms or any applicable policy;
(b) Conduct that is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate;
(c) Fraud, misrepresentation, or other unlawful activity;
(d) Non-payment or payment disputes;
(e) At NikkahGram's sole discretion for any reason or no reason.
22.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination of your account:
(a) Your right to access and use the Service immediately ceases;
(b) Your profile may be removed from public view;
(c) NikkahGram may delete or retain your User Content and personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law;
(d) Any outstanding fees remain payable;

27.3 Chargeback Consequences
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting NikkahGram and allowing a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter, or if a chargeback or dispute is found to be fraudulent, unjustified, or in bad faith:
(a) NikkahGram may immediately suspend or terminate your account;
(b) You may be permanently banned from the Service;
(c) NikkahGram may pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any fees, costs, or losses incurred as a result of the chargeback;
(d) NikkahGram may report the matter to fraud prevention services, credit agencies, or law enforcement.

Once you pay for the service and register your profile, you will not be eligible for a refund because our service becomes immediately available to you in a digital format and preparation begins for any upgraded service (non-Standard) you may have purchased, this also applies to when you send an Instant Match request sharing your profile and family/guardian contact details and hoping to receive theirs. Therefore, when the service has become available to you, it cannot be refunded. By signing up, you agree to waive your statutory right to any refund. NikkahGram may choose to issue refunds at its own discretion as a good will gesture for errors or issues which NikkahGram deems would necessitate a refund, and customers may request a refund for fair reasons though NikkahGram retains the right on whether to grant this or not, at its complete discretion.Terms and conditions:
One-off payments made before 5th March 2024 will allow users to remain on the database for 1 calendar year, whereas subscriptions authorised via Stripe, PayPal, WISE and GoCardless or future payment methods (One-Off Payments and Direct Debit) will allow candidates to remain for the duration of their agreed, paid-for membership. Your subscription duration will depend on the service type that you select during Stripe, PayPal, WISE and GoCardless or other (One-Off Payments and Direct Debit) setup, this is usually every month, 3 months or every 12 months. The frequency of your payments will reflect this quarterly or annual subscription that you have selected. The payment terms are applicable to you for the length of your subscription, and you must retain an active membership without cancelling to continue using the service after your renewal date passes, or your account may be restricted or deleted.
During the time of your active subscription, it is up to you if you choose to send and receive Instant Matches with other candidates, or you can choose not to use the service, however it will be counted as an active subscription and an active profile (as you wold have access to our services and would receive emails with system notifications like Instant Matches) until cancelled or removed.
If you wish to cancel your Direct Debit or Stripe Subscription, you simply need to submit a Profile Removal Request Form or cancel it directly via the Portal which you should have a link for. Upon cancelling your subscription, your profile will be deactivated with immediate effect and your subscription will be cancelled, and you will lose access to our systems and any benefits of your subscription. Your profile will be removed from our systems soon after. You will not be refunded and you will be unable to continue to use the service (sending or receiving Instant Matches) even if your billing cycle still has time on it. If you have paid for a non-standard plan, your profile will not be promoted on Instagram. We will cancel your subscription from further renewals, and you will lose any outstanding time on your current billing cycle, so it your choice to cancel early, though we say it is better to cancel your subscription this towards to end of the cycle if you wish to continue to use your subscription benefits until before the next renewal.
If you want to find profiles for yourself, you may be asked to pay per Instant Match request (however we intend on keeping this free and unlimited for the foreseeable future), again you will not be eligible for a refund after paying, even if you decide not to use our service. The Instant Match fee is currently free, but has been previously kept at a price of £10 per Instant Match (request/approval), and NikkahGram reserves the right to adjust prices and terms as it deems necessary for the future of its services and company.
You may be required to pay increased or additional fees for any existing services after your initial sign up, and/or for other services we introduce and provide outside of this which are not already included in your purchase. such as the upgraded services (including but not limited to our Standard, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Lifetime Service, and collaborative services with Positive Islamic Psychology Coaching), in which case you will not be eligible for a refund of your original purchase nor for the add-ons/upgrades.
The standard Instant Match request fee is currently £2 per profile for Users on a the Basic Pay-As-You-Go Plan, and NikkahGram reserves the right to adjust prices and terms as it deems necessary for the future of its services and company. The cost to add Profile Photos is £2 per Instant Match, the cost to add Personalised Photos (whether 1 photo or 2 photos) is £2 per Instant Match, and the cost to add Personalised Messages is £2 per Instant Match. This price is automatically calculated based on your entries on the Instant Match form. If you wish to remove any of these, you can go back in the form and remove the relevant entry (e.g. remove your photos if you don't want to charged £2 for uploading Personalised Photos). These prices are updated as of 25th March 2025, but previous Basic membership candidates will retain their £1 per IM/add-on pricing unless they cancel their subscription. By submitting your payment and/or purchasing any of our services, you agree to all of our terms and conditions including the Refund Policy as outlined here on our Terms & Conditions page.
All sisters must be able to provide at least 1 male reference unless they have a valid Shari'i reason to be eligible for our Wali (Guardian) service, which will be determined by our Shari'a compliance advisors. The minimum male reference for a sister must be her guardian/wali or a trustworthy and known brother with the relevant shari’i authority, in place of the guardian, with an explanation - these details will be passed on immediately when you send an Instant Match request or approve for interested candidate to receive these family contact details. For male candidates on the Basic or Standard memberships, at least 1 Male and 1 Female reference is mandatory, and must be a legitimate Muslim contact whom can be contacted by the sister (or her family) whom the Instant Match is being sent to. Customers will not be eligible for a refund if they don’t have one or more of these references/guardian available, or if they don’t like being contacted, or if they feel they cannot provide them despite knowing they are expected to, nor will NikkahGram provide any refund due to customer’s dissatisfaction with the service, whether that may be dissatisfaction with the quantity or quantity of potential candidates for matchmaking, or any lack of response from matches they request or are contacted by. You are welcome to cancel your profile and have it removed from our database at anytime, simply fill out the relevant form or email us as instructed, and it will be removed, though a refund of any paid fees will not be issued.For All Orders (Local or International):
Refunds are NOT given for any purchases made, as the service become available to you immediately upon registration.
We DO NOT permit reselling or resharing services and users who intent or act upon this and will be banned and blacklisted permanently.

I swear that all of the information I have submitted in this form is true, complete, and accurate at this time, and I swear by Allaah that I am not falsifying any information. I accept and agree that I am signing up for myself, or on behalf of some other real Muslim person whom I have legal and/or shari'i (Islamic) responsibility for, or have been given the authority to sign up on their behalf. I accept that if I have lied or misconstrued anything, NikkahGram reserves the right to remove my profile without a refund, and that I may be reported to relevant authorities. I agree and accept that the administrative tasks of paying candidates of NikkahGram, such as profile removals, customer support, and more, are prioritised over free users, such that free (non-paying) users may not have their requests completed without significant delays or even indefinitely.
I agree that once my profile is submitted, it becomes the property of NikkahGram and NikkahGram retains the right to leave the public version (anonymised) uploaded on its public database on Telegram, Instagram and elsewhere as required for its operation and marketing/promotion. If I am a Paid user, I have the option to submit the Profile Removal Request Form and if my details are completed correctly in that form, NikkahGram will deactivate and remove my profile from its internal systems within 6 months, such that the non-public details which I have submitted will be removed, but my public (anonymised) profile may still remain on any of NikkahGram's public databases indefinitely. If I am on a subscription plan and I wish to have my profile removed and subscription cancelled, I agree that I am responsible for cancelling my payments via Stripe, any of NikkahGram's other payment methods (like GoCardless, WISE, PayPal and others), or through my bank, as these may not automatically be cancelled when I request for my profile to be removed via the Profile Removal Request form. I agree that NikkahGram shall not be held responsible if my payment goes through or I am overcharged because I did not cancel it in time. NikkahGram has monthly, quarterly, annual and some other subscription terms/options - I agree that if I cancel my membership at any time, I will lose future membership benefits for future months/quarters such as the upcoming instagram story posts and adverts, and for annual subscriptions, if I cancel my membership early, I will also lose all outstanding future membership benefits. I agree that NikkahGram is not responsible for facilitating my marriage/Nikkah and cannot be held responsible for any opportunities missed with any matches, suitors or candidates for any reason, and I will not be eligible for a refund in any cases, including if there are internal maintenance works to NikkahGram services which may restrict my access to the database for less than 14 total days per each of subscription cycles.
I agree that NikkahGram is not responsible to guarantee me with any specific category of potential matches or profiles available for marriage on its service, nor guarantees any age, ethnicity, location or any other parameter of the profiles on the database, regardless of any promotional marketing material or of any profiles visible on the public Telegram or Instagram databases, and I am not eligible for a refund if wish to leave the service because of that or because I do not like the profiles available, in their quantity or quality, or if I am incompatible with them or they are not compatible with me. I agree and acknowledge that the public Telegram and/or Instagram databases or any platform where NikkahGram candidate profiles are published, may not be completely accurate, may be incomplete, or may be out of date, such that some of the candidate profiles on display may not be available/active on the internal systems if/when I am using the service and interested in contact them, and I agree that I am not eligible for a refund on this basis. I agree that NikkahGram cannot be held liable if a candidate I am interested in does not approve of me receiving their family's contact details, or if they are not interested or if they do not proceed, or even if they do proceed and/or I am at all unsatisfied.
I agree that NikkahGram or its personnel cannot be held responsible for any opportunities missed with any matches for any reason, including if I have been provided with their family contact details and they are false/invalid/inaccessible or the family and/or references are unresponsive or uninterested. I agree that NikkahGram is not responsible for anything illegal or Islamically impermissible which may take place in connection to these services.
I agree that I am responsible for providing accurate contact details for myself and family, including accurate and correct contact details for my references. When or if any contact with a potential suitor is made, as a male candidate, I take the responsibility to contact the actual designated shari’i (Islamic) guardian (Wali or representative) of the female suitor candidate as soon as possible and/or practicable.

I agree that I am responsible for providing accurate contact details for myself and family, including accurate and correct contact details for my actual designated shari’i (Islamic) guardian if I am a female and I can do so. This Agreement will terminate immediately, without prior notice from NikkahGram, in the event that you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement. You may also terminate this Agreement by deleting the website and all copies thereof from your computer.
Upon termination of this Agreement, you shall cease all use of the Application, Website and delete all copies of the Application and Website from your computer and all other devices.
Termination of this Agreement will not limit any of NikkahGram's rights or remedies at law or in equity in case of breach by you (during the term of this Agreement) of any of your obligations under the present Agreement.Copyright Infringement Notice
